Demolition Herby came out for the Atari 2600 in 1982, developed by CommaVid. It was one of those quirky, lesser-known titles that showed how developers were still experimenting with the hardware years into the console's life.

You control a small car and must drive over every section of the track to paint it your color. Rival cars follow behind, erasing your progress if they cross your path. You can ram them from behind to temporarily disable them, but you also have to manage a limited fuel supply that depletes faster when you use speed boosts. The game gets frantic as you try to cover ground while fending off opponents and conserving fuel. It feels messy and tense, but pulling off a clean run is deeply satisfying.
