Game Overview

Dino-Sorcerer was one of those MS-DOS Classic Games releases that didn't come from a big name developer, just a small team that put it out in the early 90s. It fit right in with the kind of experimental, low budget titles that filled shareware catalogs back then, offering a strange mix of prehistoric and fantasy themes that felt both ambitious and a little rough around the edges.

You control a Tyrannosaurus Rex who wears a wizard's hat and ventures through maze-like ruins. Your main goal is to rescue stolen dinosaur eggs from a sorcerer's minions, which involves navigating screen by screen while fighting off goblins, skeletons, and pterodactyl riders. You alternate between biting enemies up close, casting fireballs at a distance, and using a tail whip to knock back foes that swarm you. The game moves at a deliberate pace, and the difficulty comes from managing your limited magic and health across sprawling levels. It feels awkward and inventive in equal measure, a game that makes you work for its fun.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
