Game Overview

Ever wanted to pit a T-Rex against a triceratops and see who comes out on top? Dino Wars for MS-DOS is basically that, but with an entire army of pixelated dinosaurs at your command. The first time I played, I just kept spamming raptors—turns out they’re fast but get wrecked by stegosauruses. Lesson learned.

It’s got that old-school charm where strategy is simple but still matters—pick your dinos, send them charging, and watch the chaos unfold. There’s something weirdly satisfying about seeing a pterodactyl dive-bomb a pack of ankylosaurs. And yeah, luck plays a part, but that just makes the wins feel even better.

No fancy controls, no grinding—just quick, dumb fun. Perfect for when you’ve got five minutes to spare and want to feel like a prehistoric warlord. The pixel art’s rough in that nostalgic way, and the sound effects? Pure 90s cheese. If you miss games that didn’t take themselves too seriously, this one’s a blast.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
