Game Overview

I remember playing Disney's Beauty and the Beast – Be Our Guest back in the early 90s, when it came out on MS-DOS as part of the Classic Games series. It was published by Walt Disney Computer Software, Inc. in 1992, and it felt right at home among the other colorful, story-driven titles of that era. The game didn't try to be anything more than a charming, interactive extension of the movie, and it captured the mood of Belle's world without overcomplicating things.

You control Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Lumière as they prepare the castle for Belle and the Beast's dinner. Your main goal is to set up the dining hall by solving environmental puzzles, arranging place settings, and coordinating tasks between characters. The gameplay involves moving screen by screen, picking up items like flowers and silverware, and figuring out where they belong. It's not particularly difficult, but it requires patience and attention to detail. Playing it feels like stepping into a lighthearted side story where even small successes bring the castle a little closer to its magical evening.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
