Donkey Kong - King of Swing is a weird little puzzle-platformer for the GBA where you don't actually walk. Instead, DK swings between pegs like some kind of hairy, barrel-throwing monkey pendulum. The controls take a minute to get used to—you're basically spinning him in circles to build momentum before launching to the next peg.

First few levels feel simple, just hopping between blue and red pegs in order, but then the game starts throwing in obstacles like spikes and enemies that knock you off. The timer adds pressure, though it's usually forgiving unless you get stuck overthinking a jump. The music has that classic Donkey Kong bouncy vibe, which helps when you're retrying the same section a few times.

It's not what you'd expect from a DK game, but once the movement clicks, swinging around becomes oddly satisfying. Just don't go in expecting platforming like the SNES games.
