Game Overview

Dragon Ball DS 2 throws you right into the chaos—you start off as kid Goku, swinging your Power Pole at Red Ribbon goons before they even finish their evil monologues. The combat’s simple but satisfying, with just enough combos and special moves to keep fights from feeling repetitive.

What surprised me was how much exploring there is—you’ll climb cliffs, smash through walls, and even fish for upgrades between battles. The sprites are chunky and colorful, exactly how a DS Dragon Ball game should look. Just don’t expect a deep story—it’s mostly Goku punching his way through classic villains with that same dumb grin.

If you’ve played the first one, this is more of that but with better boss fights. The Red Ribbon Army’s mechs actually put up a decent challenge this time around.
