Dragon Ball Z: Super Butouden 3 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Bandai. The roster wasn't huge, but it had most of the key characters you'd want from that era of the show.

You pick a fighter like Goku or Vegeta and face off one-on-one in an arena. The main goal is to deplete your opponent's health bar using a mix of melee combos, projectile ki blasts, and super moves. You charge your ki by holding buttons, which lets you unleash screen-filling special attacks. The pacing is fast, and the computer can be brutally aggressive even on normal difficulty. Landing a fully charged Kamehameha and watching it connect never gets old.
