Play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Echoes of Time Online
You start by grabbing medicine for a sick friend, then suddenly you're dungeon diving with a crew, smacking monsters with swords or spells while figuring out why your village is hiding secrets. Pick a race—like Selkies who jump twice or Yukes slinging fireballs—and see how deep the mystery goes.

Game Overview
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time starts with something simple—your village friend gets sick after a birthday party, and you're sent to grab medicine. But of course, nothing stays simple. Before long, you're unraveling secrets about the village, the forest, and the world itself. Classic FF setup, really.
First thing you do? Create your hero. Pick from four races, each with their own quirks—Selkies double-jump like nobody’s business, Yukes sling spells better, Lilties smash things up close, and Clavats? They’re the "decent at everything" option. I went with a Selkie first time because, well, jumping is fun.
Gameplay’s a mix of dungeon crawling, smacking monsters (with swords, arrows, or magic), and solving light puzzles. You can recruit three AI bodyguards, and swap control between them anytime. Or ditch them entirely and bring in real friends—local or online multiplayer lets up to three others join your party. There’s even versus quests if you feel like turning on each other.
Between dungeons, there’s a weirdly exclusive Quest Shoppe where only one character can enter at a time. Feels oddly personal, like they don’t want the others seeing you haggle for better gear materials.
Oh, and if you’re on Wii? Same game, just on one screen. You can still play with DS folks, plus slap a Mii mask on your character. Because why not.
It’s a solid little action RPG with that FFCC charm, especially if you’ve got friends to drag along.
