Final Fantasy V Advance (J) is one of those RPGs that feels classic but still holds up. The job system is the real star here, letting you mix and match abilities in ways that feel broken in the best way. I remember spending way too much time grinding Freelancer just to stack passive skills.
The new jobs like Cannoneer and Necromancer add some fun twists, though they don't always feel balanced. The Sealed Temple dungeon is brutal, but in that satisfying way where you know you messed up if you wipe. The sprite work still looks great on the GBA screen, even if the colors are a little washed out compared to the original.
It's still Final Fantasy V at its core, just with some extra polish and a few more ways to break the game. That's not a bad thing.
