Game Overview

Future Wars: Adventures in Time came out in 1990 from Interplay Productions, a classic MS-DOS title that fit right in with the era's point and click adventures. You play as a window cleaner who stumbles upon a time machine, and the game sends you bouncing between different historical periods to fix temporal disruptions.

You control your character with a simple point and click interface, moving screen by screen to explore environments, collect items, and solve inventory based puzzles. Your main goal is to repair the timeline by completing objectives in each era, from prehistoric jungles to medieval castles. The game requires careful attention; missing a single key or tool early on can force a restart hours later. It moves at a deliberate pace, with a difficulty that rewards patience and thorough exploration. Playing it feels like untangling a delicate, sometimes unforgiving, web of cause and effect.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
