Play Great Boxing - Rush Up (Japan) Online

Two little pixel boxers, but every punch feels heavy—dodge a second too slow and your guy stumbles like he actually got rocked. The AI reads your habits and punishes them by round three.

Game Overview

Great Boxing - Rush Up is one of those NES games that looks simple at first—just two little pixel dudes throwing punches—but man, it gets intense fast. You’ve got basic moves: jab, hook, dodge left or right, but the timing is everything. Miss a block, and suddenly your guy’s staggering like he just took a real hit.

The AI isn’t messing around either. Opponents start slow, but by the third match, they’re slipping past your guard like they’ve studied your patterns. I lost way too many rounds to sudden uppercuts I didn’t see coming. The controls feel tight, though—no weird lag, just pure reflex-based brawling. And that soundtrack? Classic 8-bit hype music that somehow makes losing three times in a row still feel fun.

If you’re into retro sports games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a knockout (pun very much intended).
