Game Overview

Guilty is one of those weirdly charming MS-DOS adventures where you switch between playing as a sneaky thief and a straight-laced cop—both stuck together in space after a bust goes wrong. Jack’s all about picking locks and swiping stuff, while Ysanne’s more into, well, arresting people. The puzzles actually change depending on who you’re controlling, which keeps things interesting when you revisit the same locations from totally different angles.

It’s got that classic point-and-click vibe with icons for everything, but the real standout is how their stories collide. Sometimes you’ll screw something up as Jack, only to deal with the fallout later as Ysanne. The CD version’s fully voiced, and honestly, the actors nail the odd-couple dynamic—Jack’s smarmy one-liners versus Ysanne’s deadpan exasperation. And yeah, there are these janky-but-cool 3D spaceship landing sequences that feel oddly ambitious for the time.

If you’re into ’90s adventure games with a split personality (and some surprisingly sharp writing), this one’s aged way better than most.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
