Play Home Alone (Rev A) Online

Dodge bumbling burglars as Kevin, turning your house into a slapstick obstacle course—paint cans swing, marbles roll, and those idiots keep falling for it every time. The music’s catchy, the traps are silly, and yeah, you’ll feel like a tiny, vengeful architect.

Game Overview

Home Alone on the NES came out in 1991 from Bethesda Softworks, a time when movie tie-ins were common and often pretty rough. It was one of those licensed games you'd rent for the weekend, hoping it captured some of the film's chaotic fun without being a total mess.

You play as Kevin McCallister, running through your house and neighborhood setting traps to stop the Wet Bandits. The game is split between an overhead map where you collect items and side-scrolling sections where you avoid enemies and trigger your contraptions. You lay down toy cars, drop paint cans from above, and use a slingshot to stun the burglars if they get too close. It's surprisingly difficult; the enemies are relentless, and managing your items under pressure is key. The whole experience feels like a frantic, silly scramble to protect your home.
