Remember Inspector Gadget—the cartoon detective who was basically a walking Swiss Army knife? This old MS-DOS game nails that weird, janky charm. You’re Gadget, stumbling through side-scrolling levels with his ridiculous extendable arms and legs, trying to stop Dr. Claw while Penny and Brain secretly bail you out in the background.

The controls take some getting used to (because of course they do—it’s an ‘80s cartoon turned ‘90s DOS game), but there’s something hilarious about watching Gadget flail around. One minute you’re accidentally launching yourself into a pit, the next you’re using his hat helicopter to barely escape an enemy. And yeah, the theme song will get stuck in your head.

It’s not the smoothest game by today’s standards, but if you grew up with the cartoon or just love weird retro platformers, it’s a blast. Just save often—trust me on that.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
