Game Overview

Jungle Book on SNES is one of those licensed games that actually doesn’t suck. You play as Mowgli, bouncing around vines and trees while chucking fruit at snakes, monkeys, and whatever else gets in your way. The controls feel a little floaty at first, but you get used to it—just don’t expect anything as tight as Mario.

What’s cool is the mix of horizontal and vertical platforming. One minute you’re hopping across branches, the next you’re climbing up a waterfall. The music’s got that classic 16-bit charm too, even if the jungle theme gets repetitive after a while. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s a solid way to kill an afternoon if you’re into old-school platformers.
