Game Overview

LEGO Battles: Ninjago takes the usual RTS formula—harvesting resources, building bases, training units—and gives it that classic LEGO charm. You pick between two campaigns right off the bat: either lead the Spinjitzu heroes or command the creepy Skulkin forces. Either way, you're hunting down those four golden weapons, which honestly sound way cooler than they have any right to (Nunchucks of Lightning? Yes please).

The first few missions ease you in—scout the map, smack some rocks for bricks, and plop down barracks to train little LEGO warriors. It’s simple, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching your tiny army march toward an enemy tower. Heroes get upgrades as you go, and some missions throw curveballs, like holding off waves of skeletons against a timer. Just don’t expect StarCraft-level depth—this is LEGO, after all. Buildings and units are exactly what you’d imagine: brick banks, mines, and the occasional ninja flinging shurikens.

It’s not groundbreaking, but if you ever wanted to see a LEGO samurai duel a skeleton warrior in pixelated DS glory, here’s your chance.
