Maniac Mansion (SW) is a point-and-click adventure where you pick two friends to help Dave break into a creepy mansion and rescue his girlfriend. The first thing you notice is how weirdly alive the house feels—every room has something odd, like a sentient tentacle in the fridge or a meteorite humming in the basement.

You switch between characters to solve puzzles, and each one handles things differently. The punk kid might smash a lock while the nerd hacks it. But if you mess up, someone gets thrown in the dungeon, and suddenly you're scrambling to free them before the family catches the others.

It's slow by today's standards—lots of trial and error—but the atmosphere holds up. Maniac Mansion (SW) nails that feeling of sneaking through a house where every door could hide something ridiculous or terrifying.
