Game Overview

Mind Maze is one of those weird little Atari 2600 games that makes you go "Wait, how have I never heard of this?" at first. You're just this blocky little pixel moving through an even blockier maze, but there's something oddly satisfying about figuring out the paths—especially when you hit a dead end for the third time and realize you missed a sneaky side passage.

It's way more about thinking than reflexes, which honestly feels rare for early Atari stuff. No monsters chasing you, no timers—just you, the maze, and that faint hum of your TV in 1982. If you've played Adventure, it's sort of like that but stripped down to pure navigation puzzles. The graphics are about what you'd expect (read: very simple), but that somehow makes it more absorbing when you're squinting at the screen trying to map the route in your head.

Definitely a niche pick, but if you like retro games that make you pause and strategize, it's a cool little time capsule.
