Game Overview

Moraff's World came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Moraffware. It was one of those shareware dungeon crawlers that felt right at home on a beige PC tower, a game you'd find on a floppy disk tucked inside a magazine. It didn't try to compete with the big budget titles; it just offered a straightforward, no frills adventure that ran on almost any hardware of the era.

You control a lone adventurer exploring a massive, multi level dungeon, screen by screen. The main goal is to survive, gather better equipment, and find the exit to the next floor. You fight monsters in real time with a sword or a bow, manage a simple inventory of potions and gear, and deal with traps and secret doors. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty is unforgiving; a wrong turn or a tough enemy can end a run quickly. It feels like a tense, solitary grind where every small victory matters.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
