My Hero came out on the Sega Master System in 1985, developed and published by Sega. It was one of the earlier beat 'em up style games on the system, arriving before the genre really took off in arcades. You play as a martial artist trying to rescue your kidnapped girlfriend from a gang's hideout.

You control your character through side-scrolling stages, punching and jump-kicking enemies like thugs, attack dogs, and strange frog-like creatures. The main objective is to fight your way to the end of each level, defeat the boss, and progress until you find your girlfriend. Key mechanics include precise timing for your attacks, especially the jump-kick which is essential but risky, and navigating environmental hazards.
