Game Overview

I first played "Once Upon A Time: Little Red Riding Hood" back in the early '90s on MS-DOS. It was developed by Coktel Vision, a company known for their educational and adventure titles at the time. The game stood out among other releases for its unique approach to storytelling, letting you experience the classic fairy tale from two very different perspectives.

You control either Little Red Riding Hood or the Wolf, each with their own objectives and challenges. As Red, you explore the forest screen by screen, gathering items like berries and solving environmental puzzles to reach Grandma’s house safely. As the Wolf, you sneak past obstacles like lumberjacks, avoiding detection while trying to reach your goal first. The pacing is deliberate, with a moderate difficulty that encourages careful thinking over quick reactions. Playing it feels like unraveling a familiar story through interactive, thoughtful exploration.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
