Game Overview

Operation Spacehog came out in 2000 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Free Lunch Design AB. It was a time when simple, fast-paced shooters still had a place on home computers, and this one fit right in without trying to reinvent the wheel.

You pilot a small ship through tight, maze-like corridors, blasting aliens and dodging their projectiles. The main goal is to clear each screen of enemies while collecting power-ups that upgrade your weapons, from basic shots to wide spreads or homing missiles. The game moves quickly, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as you push further in. It feels frantic but satisfying when you finally clear a tough room.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
