Pharaohs Tomb came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by George Broussard. It was a straightforward platformer from that era, built for systems that handled simple graphics and keyboard controls without much fuss. You played as an adventurer named Nevada Smith, exploring a pyramid filled with traps and treasure.

You control Nevada, moving screen by screen through the pyramid, jumping over spike pits and dodging spears that shoot from the walls. The main goal is to collect all the treasure chests on each level while avoiding instant death from traps or enemies like mummies and snakes. You have a limited number of lives and continues, so every mistake feels costly; the pacing is tense, and the difficulty is high. It feels like a race against the pyramid itself, where every room demands careful timing and a good memory for trap locations.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
