Game Overview

Quest for Hussein was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games release in 2002, though the original developer and publisher details are not widely remembered. It belongs to that era of straightforward, unadorned DOS titles where games often relied on simple mechanics and direct challenges rather than elaborate stories or production values.

You control a lone soldier dropped into hostile territory with only a basic pistol at the start. Your goal is to survive wave after wave of enemy soldiers while scavenging for better weapons like assault rifles and grenade launchers, each with their own reliability issues. The game progresses screen by screen, with enemies swarming from all sides, and there are no save points; if you die, you start over from the very beginning. It is brutally difficult and demands quick reflexes and careful ammo management, creating a tense, almost desperate feeling as you push forward. Playing it feels like a relentless test of endurance where every small victory matters.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
