Play Rockman (Japan) Online

Twelve robot masters with wild themes like Gravity Man and Napalm Man—you blast through their stages, steal their weapons, and that sweet charge shot from Mega Man 4 still saves your skin when the spikes and pits get mean. Wave Man’s track goes stupid hard.

Game Overview

Rockman (Japan) is basically Mega Man 5—same blue bomber, same run-and-gun chaos, just with the original Japanese name. You’ve got twelve new robot masters this time, each with their own ridiculous theme (Gravity Man? Napalm Man? Yeah, they went all out). The levels are classic NES tough—expect cheap deaths from pits and spikes, but the weapons you steal from bosses actually feel useful for once. That charge shot they added in Mega Man 4? Still here, and still the best thing ever when you’re barely scraping through a level.

Honestly, it’s not the hardest in the series, but some of those late-game stages will make you groan. Protip: Wave Man’s stage music slaps.
