Rush and Attack is one of those classic NES games that feels like a fever dream—you're a lone soldier sneaking into what looks like a Soviet military base, dodging guards and knife fights while trying to blow up some secret weapon. The arcade version had you rescuing POWs, but here it's all about causing chaos before sprinting away from a nuclear explosion. Classic 80s action.

The controls take a second to get used to—you’ve got punches, jumps, and this weird knife throw that arcs just right if you time it. And yeah, you’ll definitely die a lot at first because enemies come at you from all sides. But once you get the rhythm down, there’s something weirdly satisfying about clearing a screen of soldiers before moving on to the next.

That final bazooka shot at the missile silo? Still feels awesome every time.
