Skunny's Desert Raid came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, published by Copysoft. It was one of those side-scrolling shooters that felt right at home on the platform, a straightforward action game without much pretense, just a clear goal and a lot of things to shoot at.

You pilot a small biplane through a desert landscape, moving from left to right across the screen. Your main objective is to survive each stage by shooting down enemy helicopters, avoiding missiles, and collecting power-ups that improve your firepower. The game progresses screen by screen, with each section introducing new enemy patterns and environmental hazards. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding sharp reflexes and careful maneuvering. It feels hectic and satisfying when you finally clear a tough wave of enemies.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
