Play Solo Online

You guide a little guy through brutal block puzzles—mess up once and you're back at the start, but nailing that perfect run feels so good. That soundtrack still gets stuck in my head.

Game Overview

Man, Solo—what a weird little MS-DOS time capsule. You control this tiny dude (or maybe it's a robot? Never quite figured that out) pushing blocks, dodging spikes, and outsmarting enemies that look like they were drawn in five minutes. The first few levels trick you into thinking it's easy, then suddenly you're staring at the screen for 20 minutes trying to work out if you need to sacrifice that one block to make the jump possible.

It's got that perfect retro frustration where you'll fail the same puzzle six times, walk away grumbling, then solve it instantly when you come back later. The controls are shockingly precise for something this old—no wonky jumps or unfair hitboxes. And the chiptune soundtrack? Weirdly catchy, in that "I'll be humming this against my will" way.

Honestly, it's criminal how few people remember this one. Not every level's a winner, but when the puzzles click, it feels like outsmarting the game itself. Just keep a notepad handy for the later stages—you'll need it.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
