Game Overview

Oh man, Spirou on MS-DOS takes me back. You play as this wiry little bellhop in a red uniform, bouncing around colorful levels that look like they jumped straight out of a 90s comic book. The first thing you notice is how alive everything feels—Spip the squirrel chattering away, goofy enemies with oversized animations, and these little visual gags hidden in the background.

The jumping feels just right—not too floaty, not too stiff—though some of the platforming gets surprisingly tricky. One minute you're casually collecting fruit, the next you're sweating over a series of tiny moving platforms. And that soundtrack? Bouncy, cheerful synth tunes that stick in your head for days.

It's not the longest or most complex platformer out there, but there's something special about how it captures the spirit of the comics. You can tell the developers really loved the source material. Just don't be surprised if you catch yourself grinning at the silly little details.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
