Star Reach came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Interplay Productions. It was a space strategy title from an era when many games relied on text and simple graphics to build complex worlds, fitting right in with other thoughtful, turn-based experiences of the time.

You control one of several alien races, each with unique traits, and guide your empire across a randomly generated galaxy. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
