Game Overview

Submarine Fury was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that bundled several titles from the era without a clear single developer or publisher credited. It fits right into that early 90s period when naval sims and action games were experimenting with simpler, more accessible formats, often trading realism for immediate playability.

You command a small submarine viewed from a side perspective, navigating narrow underwater channels and avoiding mines, enemy subs, and depth charges. Your main goal is to survive each stage, clearing enemy vessels with a limited supply of torpedoes while managing oxygen and hull integrity. Key mechanics include carefully aiming torpedoes that travel slowly and must lead moving targets, as well as surfacing periodically to replenish air without exposing yourself to fire. The pacing is tense and deliberate; mistakes are punished quickly, and every shot counts. It feels like a tense game of cat and mouse where patience and precision are constantly tested.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
