Game Overview

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe was a Game Boy Color release, not for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was developed and published by Nintendo, offering a portable version of the original NES game with some notable additions. It arrived later in the handheld's life, providing a condensed but enhanced way to revisit Mario's early platforming.

You control Mario, or Luigi in two-player mode, running and jumping through side-scrolling stages to rescue Princess Peach. The main goal remains reaching the flagpole at the end of each level, but Deluxe adds objectives like finding hidden red coins and Yoshi eggs. The game includes the full original Super Mario Bros. and the much more difficult Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, now with the ability to save your progress.
