Play The Magic Candle 2 - The Four and Forty Online
Gather your party in crisp VGA—now towns glow and dungeons loom darker. That cryptic prophecy about the Four and Forty? Yeah, you'll be scratching notes on parchment like it's an actual mystery to solve.

Game Overview
If you played the original The Magic Candle, this sequel feels familiar but sharper—the VGA upgrade makes everything pop, especially the towns and dungeons. You still assemble a party of adventurers (good luck picking just four—I always agonized over who to bring), but now the world feels a bit more alive when you’re wandering around.
The whole "Four and Forty" mystery hooks you early—some weird prophecy, missing people, the usual fantasy chaos. Combat’s still grid-based and tactical, though I remember certain spells being way more useful this time around. Just don’t expect hand-holding; you’ll be scribbling notes about clues and secret doors like it’s 1991.
It’s very much a sequel—if you liked the first one, you’ll dig this. If not… well, it won’t change your mind.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
