You start This Planet Sucks docked in the mothership, just floating there until you hit the button to drop out into space. The controls are simple—left, right, thrust—but the asteroids don’t make it easy. Mess up your landing speed, and boom, your little lander’s toast. And if you squish the poor survivor you’re trying to rescue? Yeah, that’s on you.

Once you grab them, things get worse. Some asteroids turn into UFOs that chase you while you’re hauling back up to the mothership. Miss the docking bay by even a little? You lose a life and the survivor. It’s brutal, but in that classic arcade way where you keep mashing the reset button anyway. The levels loop, but good luck making it past the second one without a few dozen tries first.

Basically, it’s Lunar Rescue but with a title that tells you exactly how it feels to play.
