Game Overview

This NES game is basically the cartoon chaos of Tom & Jerry turned into a playable mess—in the best way. You pick either Tom or Jerry (or sometimes little Tuffy, who’s surprisingly fun to control) and just… wreak havoc. One second you’re setting up a trap with a rolling pin, the next you’re getting launched across the room by a spring-loaded chair. It’s janky in that classic NES way, but the energy is spot-on—like someone bottled the cartoon’s slapstick and dumped it into an 8-bit world.

Stages feel like toyboxes full of dumb, interactive surprises. I kept getting distracted smashing stuff or laughing when Jerry outran Tom in that ridiculous zigzag sprint. The two-player mode is pure couch-chaos, especially if you’ve got a sibling or friend who doesn’t mind losing to a well-timed anvil drop. Not the deepest game, but it’s hard to stay mad when everything’s this silly.
