Game Overview

Remember those classic Tom & Jerry cartoons where the house turns into a warzone of mousetraps, rolling pins, and flying frying pans? Cat-astrophe nails that energy perfectly. You pick either Tom or Jerry, and suddenly you're dodging anvils or setting up ridiculous traps—just like the show. The controls are simple (this is MS-DOS, after all), but timing matters. Miss a jump or fumble a trap setup, and you'll eat a faceful of whatever the other guy threw at you.

What surprised me was how well it holds up. The animations are jerky in that charming 90s way, and the sound effects—like Tom’s yowl when he gets hit—are straight from the cartoons. It’s chaotic, silly, and over way too fast, but that’s kind of the point. You’ll either win in two minutes or lose spectacularly, then immediately hit restart because this time you’ll definitely land that rolling-pin throw.

If you’ve got a soft spot for retro games or grew up watching these two idiots wreck a house, it’s hard not to smile at this one.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
