Game Overview

Tour 91 was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled various titles from the platform's early 90s era. It was developed by a small team whose name isn't widely remembered now, but the game fits right in with other straightforward, challenging racers of the time. There's no elaborate backstory or licensed cars; it's just you, a selection of boxy vehicles, and a demanding course.

You control a single car from a behind the vehicle perspective, navigating narrow tracks filled with sharp turns and occasional obstacles. The main objective is simply to finish each race in first place, which is far easier said than done. Signature mechanics include a punishing drift system that requires precise timing to avoid spinning out, and aggressive AI opponents that will ruthlessly block and bump you off the road. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is high from the outset, demanding repeated attempts to master each track's rhythm. It feels raw and unforgiving, but immensely satisfying when you finally thread a perfect lap without crashing.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
