Game Overview

Wizardry: Crusaders of the Dark Savant came out in 1992 from Sir-tech Software, Inc., and it was one of those deep, demanding MS-DOS RPGs that really defined the era. It didn't hold your hand, and it didn't try to be flashy; it just dropped you into a world full of secrets and expected you to figure things out on your own.

You control a party of six adventurers, each with their own class and skills, and you guide them through first-person, grid-based dungeons, fighting monsters in turn-based combat and hunting for the mysterious Astral Dominae. The game is known for its complex navigation, faction reputation system, and the constant need to manage your resources, like food and light. It moves slowly, and the difficulty is punishing, but piecing together the world's lore and surviving its challenges gives a real sense of accomplishment. Every step forward feels earned.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
