World of Aden: Thunderscape came out in 1995 for MS-DOS, a time when isometric RPGs were finding their footing. It was developed by Strategic Simulations, Inc. and published by Mindscape, offering a dark, industrial fantasy setting that stood apart from the high fantasy norms of the era.
