Game Overview

Worm World was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a title from the early 1990s that fit right in with the straightforward, often punishing games of that era. It didn't come from a major studio, but it captured that specific kind of challenge that made you keep coming back to the keyboard, determined to beat your own score.

You control a segmented worm that grows longer with every piece of food it eats, navigating through a maze of tight, blocky corridors. The main objective is survival; you must steer the worm's head without letting it collide with the walls or, more critically, its own expanding tail. Movement is turn-based, with each arrow key input shifting your entire body one space at a time, which means every decision is permanent and mistakes compound quickly. The pacing is tense and deliberate, forcing you to plan several moves ahead as the available space shrinks. It feels like a careful, escalating puzzle where one lapse in concentration ends everything.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
