Game Overview

Xmas Lemmings came out in 1992 as a holiday-themed version of the original Lemmings, published by Psygnosis Limited for MS-DOS. It was part of that era when puzzle-platformers often relied on careful timing and clever use of limited tools, and this one stood out with its cheerful, seasonal look. The game kept the core idea intact but wrapped everything in snow, presents, and festive decorations.

You don’t control the lemmings directly; instead, you assign skills to individual creatures as they march mindlessly across each screen. The goal is to guide a certain number of them to the exit, using abilities like building stairs, blocking paths, or digging through obstacles. The challenge comes from managing crowds with limited skills, under time pressure, while hazards like icy drops or gaps threaten instant failure. It feels satisfying to set up a perfect chain of actions and watch your little Santas make it home safely.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
