Game Overview

Yoshi no Road Hunting is one of those weird little SNES games that makes you go, "Wait, Nintendo actually made this?" At first glance, it feels like someone took Yoshi, strapped him to a treadmill, and said, "Run, dinosaur, run!" You're barreling down this endless, twisty road, snatching eggs mid-air while dodging Shy Guys who apparently didn’t get the memo that this isn’t their usual platformer.

The controls are dead simple—just jump and grab stuff—but don’t let that fool you. One wrong move and you’re either face-first in a pit or getting mobbed by enemies. The music’s got that classic SNES cheeriness, which somehow makes the chaos even funnier. I kept coming back just to see how far I could push my score before everything went sideways.

It never made it outside Japan, which is a shame because it’s the kind of oddball game that makes retro hunting so fun. If you’ve ever wanted to see Yoshi in a high-speed egg heist, this is your chance.
