Air Trax is one of those MS-DOS Classic Games releases that doesn't come with a lot of fanfare or a well-known developer attached. It fits right into that era of experimental, often shareware, titles that explored simple but demanding concepts, relying on pure mechanics rather than story or elaborate graphics to hook players.

You pilot a small hovercraft through a series of narrow, neon-outlined tunnel corridors viewed from behind. Your only job is to survive; you don't shoot, you just navigate. The core challenge is the tunnel itself, which constantly twists, turns, and branches without warning, forcing you into rapid, precise adjustments. The game starts deceptively manageable, lulling you into a rhythm before the speed and complexity spike dramatically, demanding almost preternatural reflexes. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
