Alien Breed is that classic Amiga game where you’re basically stuck on a space station crawling with aliens—think Aliens but with a top-down view and way more panic. You play as one of two marines, Johnson or Stone, blasting through six levels of corridors that keep spitting out creepy crawlies from every direction.

At first, it seems straightforward: shoot stuff, grab keys, don’t die. But then you realize ammo’s scarce, doors lock behind you, and some will straight-up electrocute you if you backtrack. The tension’s real—you’ll be low on health, out of bullets, and suddenly hear that awful skittering noise of another alien spawning behind you.

There’s no music, just eerie machine hums and gunfire, which somehow makes it worse (in a good way). The Infotex terminals are a lifesaver—if you’ve scraped together enough credits, you can buy ammo or extra keys before diving back into the chaos. Just don’t get too comfortable—those aliens don’t stay dead for long.
