Battle of Giants: Dragons came out for the Nintendo DS in 2009, developed and published by Ubisoft. Between fights, you spend points to upgrade your health, attack power, and defense, and you can also swap out your elemental affinity, which changes your special attacks. The pacing is fairly quick, with matches that don't overstay their welcome, though the difficulty can spike with some tougher opponents. It feels like a straightforward, tactile fighter where your success hinges on how well you can direct your dragon with the stylus.
