Game Overview

Battle of Giants: Dragons is one of those DS games that makes you wish the screen was bigger—because watching your dragon breathe fire or slam into enemies is way more satisfying than it should be. You start by picking a dragon (I went with the spiky black one because, well, spikes), and then it’s straight into battles where you’re swiping the stylus to claw, dodge, or unleash special moves. The controls take a second to click, but once they do, fights feel surprisingly fluid for a DS game.

What I didn’t expect was how much you can tweak your dragon. Between battles, you’re upgrading stats, swapping out elemental attacks (ice breath is weirdly OP), and even changing colors if you’re into that. The AI isn’t genius-level, but later fights get legit tense when you’re low on health and scrambling to land one last fireball. It’s not the deepest game, but if you ever wanted to pretend your DS was a tiny dragon-fighting arena, this does the job.
