Game Overview

Man, Bobs Dragon Hunt is such a weird little MS-DOS game—the kind you'd find on a floppy disk labeled "MISC GAMES" in your uncle's basement. You play as Bob, some guy with a crossbow who apparently decided hunting dragons solo was a good career move. The first dragon nearly roasted me because I didn't realize they actually dodge your shots—none of that "stand still and die" nonsense here.

The levels are these chunky pixel landscapes where you're either backing into a corner or sprinting away from fireballs. No story, no upgrades, just you versus increasingly angry lizards. It's got that janky early '90s charm where the hitboxes are questionable but the adrenaline is real. If you've got DOSBox and 10 minutes to spare, it's a surprisingly tense way to relive the era of shareware chaos.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
