I picked up Bobs Dragon Hunt as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled a lot of smaller, often forgotten titles from that era. It was developed by a small team whose name escapes me now, but it fits right in with the kind of shareware adventures you'd find on a floppy disk back then. The game doesn't try to be more than it is; it's a straightforward action game built for quick sessions on a machine with limited memory and processing power.

You control a knight armed with a crossbow, moving screen by screen through a maze-like castle. Your goal is simple: hunt down and defeat the dragon hiding somewhere within. The gameplay involves navigating tight corridors, avoiding the dragon's fireball attacks, and lining up your shots carefully because your bolts travel slowly and the dragon moves erratically. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
