If you loved the movie Cars, this PSP game is basically a love letter to Radiator Springs. You start off racing as Lightning McQueen on familiar tracks, but the real charm kicks in when you explore the town—chatting with Mater, helping out the locals, and unlocking little side missions. The controls are simple enough that even my kid cousin could pick it up, but there’s enough depth in the drifting mechanics to make races feel satisfying when you nail a tight turn.

What surprised me was how much personality they packed into it—Doc Hudson actually sounds like Paul Newman, and the desert scenery looks way better than I expected for a handheld game from this era. Just don’t expect a full open world; it’s more like a series of fun pit stops between races. Still, if you’re nostalgic for the movie, this one’s a solid time capsule.
