So here's the deal: Darklarza, this dragon-obsessed warlord, has been bullying the kingdom for ages. The king's holed up in some hidden fortress with his last loyal knight, Geraden—until Darklarza crashes the party and kidnaps the princess. Classic move, right? Now it's just Geraden, his sword, and a whole lot of angry monsters between him and saving the day.

Castle of Dragon plays like those old-school NES brawlers where you're constantly sidestepping fireballs and timing your slashes just right. At first, Geraden feels a bit underpowered (that starting shield barely blocks anything), but you'll stumble on better gear—like flaming swords or lightning spells—that make fights way less punishing. The magic system's simple but satisfying—nothing like roasting a line of skeletons with a well-placed fireball.
