Castlevania 3 - Dracula's Curse [T-Port] is one of those NES games that feels punishing but fair—most of the time. You play as Trevor Belmont, whipping candles for hearts and dodging Medusa heads that fly in just the wrong rhythm. The branching paths are cool, letting you pick different allies like Grant the pirate or Sypha the mage, but some routes are way harder than others.

The music sticks with you, especially that first stage theme, but the controls take getting used to. Trevor moves stiffly, and jumping commits you to the arc—no changing direction mid-air. It’s frustrating when you misjudge a platform, but when you finally clear a tough section, it feels earned.
