Classic NES Series: Bomberman on the GBA is basically the same chaotic, grid-based bomb fest you remember—just shrunk down for on-the-go explosions. The first time I played, I immediately blew myself up because I forgot bombs have a delay. Classic mistake.

It’s got that same simple joy of dropping bombs to carve paths through mazes, except now you can do it in line at the DMV. The power-ups are still ridiculous—get enough speed boosts and you’ll be zipping around like a caffeinated squirrel. And yeah, multiplayer’s here too if you’ve got friends willing to suffer through link cables.

Honestly, it’s not fancy, but that’s the point. Sometimes you just want to watch everything explode in 8-bit glory.
